SAVE THE FLOWER POT PRETTIES

(story copyright Heather Valentin/Lacy Sunshine)

In the wee hours of a stormy night, a creature unlike any seen before was lurking in from the shadows of artist Heather Valentin's studio green house. It was an evil Buggmee! A Sherry Stinkbug Buggmee! Big bouffont hair, kooky eyes, and a giant snaggle tooth! We cant' help but see those huge ears, which are perfect to catch every lil sound in the atmosphere!

What's the worst thing about Sherry "Stinky" Buggmees? They lurk in the shadows and fester, leaving a bad "Stinky" trail that wilts everything in its path.
Even though it's "Stinky" and has that kind of " ugly duckling look"... It's still a charmer and with one look can cast a spell upon everyone and everything making this Buggmee irresistible.
Why oh why could this Sherry Stinky Buggmee be in Heather's greenhouse??? It wants to wilt her magical Flower Pot Pretties, draining them of their adorable charms and beauty, turning them into Stinky evil minions.

So we must help save Heather's Flower Pot Pretties NOW and PROTECT them from the evil Stinky Buggmee.

This is your chance to have some CRAFTY FUN and WIN SOME AMAZING PRIZES!

Precious Wings

Its that time of the month again, my turn. I thought i would go with an antique feel and keep it quite plain and simple as i get that feel with this cutie stamp, they can be purchased in the new section of the shop

I printed out 3 copies of precious wings and as you can see only colored the bits i wanted to decoupage.I have colored them with graphit markers and spectrum noir pencils

I added glamour dust to their wings
This is a laser cut, that i bought at a new shop i found, they normally use wood but i asked if they could do it in card for me. I backed it with dark pink card and then cut around it. I used tim holtz antique linen distress ink to make the teapot look as if it was made of wood. The die cut i did the same to and the backing paper.. I added a piece if card folded over and stuck it to the teapot to fasten the teacup too to make it stand out for added depth. The roses and the leaves are from wild orchid crafts. I added tiny gems to the middle of the flowers around the teacup brim and finished off with 3 crystals. If you like a challenge why not join us every fortnight over at the challenge blog or join the  Lacy Sunshine Facebook group where there is also a challenge once a month and a free digi image to use for the challenge.

Here's another card made with the same cutie image. Well thats me signing off for this time, see you all again soon. caroline x
